Tvinna Scarf 🇬🇧
Pattern description
The Tvinna Scarf is a delicate and elegant accessory featuring an intricate cable pattern with intertwined heart shapes. Designed with a soft, lightweight feel, it combines romantic details with timeless Scandinavian-inspired simplicity.
The central cable motif is framed by delicate lace details, creating a beautiful balance between texture and elegance. A relaxing yet engaging knit, the scarf can be adapted in length and yarn choice to create your own unique version.
A timeless handmade piece designed to add a thoughtful touch of texture, warmth, and charm to your everyday wardrobe.
Construction
The Tvinna Scarf is worked flat from one end to the other. The design features a central cable motif with intertwined hearts, framed by lace details and a decorative edge stitch.
All decreases, yarn overs, and cable crossings are worked on right-side rows only. The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart.
Size: One size
Length / Width: 12 cm × 125 cm
Gauge: 29 sts × 30 rows = 10 × 10 cm on 3,5 mm needles
Yarn suggestion:
50 g mohair held double (2 × 25 g = approx. 420 m)
For example:
Gepard Garn Kid Seta or Filcolana Tilia
(25 g = 210 m)
Alternative:
For a less fluffy look, the scarf can be worked with a single strand
of Sunday.
100 g Sandnes Garn Sunday (50 g = 235 m)
In general, different yarn types and yarn weights can be used to
create different looks and textures. Please note that changing the
gauge will also change the measurements of the scarf, both in
width and length.
The sample is worked with one strand of Gepard Garn Kid Silk in
colour 818 held together with one strand of Gepard Garn Kid Silk
in colour 820.
Materials:
3.5 mm knitting needles, 2 stitch markers (SM), cable needle (CN)
